Now it is time to grow, learn the truth, and become rooted so that you do not stay spiritually unstable, emotionally led, or easily deceived.

Following Jesus is not just a moment of emotion. It is a life of surrender, obedience, transformation, and truth.

What Happened When You Said Yes to Jesus?

When you genuinely repent and place your faith in Jesus Christ, several things happen spiritually:

• You are forgiven through Jesus Christ
• You are reconciled to God
• You are no longer separated from Him by sin
• You become a new creation in Christ
• You now belong to the Lord
• You begin a new life that must be lived in surrender and truth

Salvation is by grace through faith, but true faith produces change. You will not become perfect overnight, but your life should begin to move in a new direction as you grow in Christ.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

1. Begin talking to God every day

Prayer is not performance. Prayer is communication with God. Speak to Him honestly, humbly, and consistently.
